Tesla publishes different roof-shade accessories by production period, body variant and market. Use this reference to prepare an enquiry; it is not an approved Saisi fitment.
Tesla is referenced for vehicle fitment discussion only. Saisi Auto Parts is not presented as Tesla-affiliated, and the Tesla accessory specifications below do not describe a Saisi product.
Removable framed mesh
Tesla's shop pages describe a single glass-roof shade for the Model Y option, with lightweight mesh, a collapsible rigid frame, clips below the fixed glass and a storage pouch.
- —The older global listing covers Model Y vehicles produced in 2020–2024 and separates the glass-roof shade from the rear-liftgate shade.
- —The current global listing covers selected 2025+ Model Y trims and excludes Model Y L; the China page uses a February 2025 production boundary.
- —Clip contents differ between the cited markets, so a clip count should never be assumed from the model name alone.
Roof, liftgate and Model Y L are separate questions
A roof shade does not establish fitment for the rear liftgate or Model Y L. Ask the buyer which glass area needs coverage and record the vehicle market and production date.
- —The rear-liftgate accessory is a separate framed mesh part with its own edge clips and a closing-clearance check.
- —Tesla publishes a separate Model Y L roof shade; standard Model Y accessory wording must not be extended to Model Y L.
Manual retractable construction
Tesla China also lists a manual roller-style roof shade for Model Y vehicles produced from February 2025 onward, excluding Model Y L. The page says Tesla Service Center installation is included and warns against self-installation.

Tesla roof shade: fitment comes first.
Tesla lists separate roof-shade accessories for different vehicle generations. This is a useful fitment reference, not evidence that a Saisi product uses the same material, clips or performance specification.
