Wholesale Side Window Sunshades
Edited by LesomTech
For importers, distributors and automotive accessory brands, a side-window sunshade order starts with a usable assortment plan. Identify the customers you serve, the vehicles they own and the window positions you want to cover. A request for ‘universal car shades’ leaves the attachment, coverage and contents of each saleable unit unresolved.
LesomTech manufactures automotive sunshades in its own factory. The production MOQ is 100 pieces per style; sample quantities and costs are agreed separately. Use the steps below to prepare a comparable bulk quotation and a sample review tied to your actual product range.
1. Define the use and each window position
Separate front-door, rear-door and fixed quarter-window requirements. Record whether a saleable item is one panel, a left/right pair or a vehicle set, and list every included piece. Where your brief uses sets but the quotation uses pieces, ask for a written unit conversion and how the per-style MOQ applies.
Provide the make, model, model year, body style and sales market for each target vehicle. Include photos of the window outline, door trim and proposed attachment areas, with doors and windows both open and closed. Keep regional or production-period differences as separate entries until their fit has been reviewed.
2. Review mounting and window movement together
A shaped frame, curtain and roller construction create different installation and operating questions. Describe the coverage, attachment method, removal frequency and storage space you need. Ask which construction can be evaluated for your vehicle rather than assuming that all versions use the same fittings or permit the same movement.
On the target vehicle, review attachment, door closing, glass movement, edge contact and sight lines. State whether the intended use is while parked or in another agreed condition. Do not advertise that windows can open with the shade fitted until that specific sample and configuration have been checked. Record any removal instructions before driving.
3. Turn the approved sample into a clear SKU
Give each proposed SKU a vehicle reference, window position, side, construction, colour and set contents. If you are comparing two constructions, retain separate sample records. A photo of a fitted panel is useful, but it does not replace checking the opposite side, fittings or the packed product supplied to your customer. Reference the approved sample identifier on repeat orders so any changes can be reviewed against the original approval.
Use the sample to agree seams, edge finish, fastener quantities, labels, installation instructions and storage. Photograph the approved arrangement and record outstanding changes. Coverage and mesh appearance alone do not establish a UV, temperature-reduction or other performance claim; any requested claim needs relevant evidence for the agreed material and construction.
4. Request a bulk quote by style and destination
Send a line-by-line quantity plan with the sample references, branding, packaging and delivery destination. Ask the quotation to distinguish product contents, sample costs, any development or branding charges and transport scope. This makes alternatives easier to compare without confusing a single panel price with a complete vehicle-set price.
Confirm the final specification, inspection points and production schedule after the open sample items are resolved. Agree how a revised vehicle, fitting or package changes the SKU and approval record. An initial request establishes a project for review; it does not establish confirmed fitment, stock availability or a delivery date.
